How many will I need?

I recommend a minimum of 10 nappy changes if you plan to wash daily and have access to and are willing to use your dryer (helpful in cold weather, winter months and rainy days.) I managed with only 10 pockets for my daughter by doing a load in the evening and putting them on an indoor clothes horse overnight. They were always dry in the morning and ready to use again. (It was summer time and I had faster drying microfibre inserts)

If you plan to wash daily and do not have dryer access then you could get by with 14-16 nappies. Using 7-8 nappies each day while washing 7-8 nappies a day.

Ideally 20-24 nappies are best as you would not have to look at your dryer, even in the most dismal NZ winter!
